Welcome to JIMBUNAS LEARNING CLUB, where learning meets adventure! We are a Christian organization commited to making a positive impact on the Okinawan community through Engish education. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Alignment with our vision (agreement with Jimbunas’ Statement of Faith) and comfort working in a Christ-centered environment ✝️

  • A genuine love for working with children 🌱

  • Native-level English or equivalent proficiency (日本人オフィススタッフも募集中です)

  • Positive, respectful, and caring interaction with kids, parents/guardians, and teammates

  • Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration 🤝

  • Enjoyment of working in a cross-cultural environment 🌍

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to take ownership and initiative in the program 🚀

  • Work experience (ideally 3+ years), but not required

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an After-School Program Instructor at Jimbunas, you will:

  • Uphold and model our Christ-centered values in all interactions ✝️

  • Run fun and creative workshops to spark curiosity and a love for learning 🚀

  • Foster a positive, safe, and engaging environment for children

  • Collaborate effectively with teammates, parents, and guardians 🤝

  • Take initiative and ownership in planning and running activities

  • Adapt to a cross-cultural environment and embrace diversity 🌍

  • Support the growth and development of each child academically, socially, and spiritually


WAGES
¥1,200–¥2,800 per hour
Based on experience and assigned program.

  • Ideal candidates with 3+ years of experience may receive higher pay.

  • Experience is valued but not required—everyone passionate about kids and teaching is welcome!
